Transformer VS Xoom

hello i currently have the motorola Xoom, I was wondering what people thought of the transformer. Is it better than the Xoom. If so i may be making the switch especially with ICS dropping next week for the transformer

You are in the Transformer Prime section, so you'll get mostly biased answers, you know. Also, do you mean the original Transformer, or the new Prime?

Anyway, the obvious answer is yes the Prime is better. Even without getting into the specifics, just pick one up in your hands after holding your Xoom. You'll immediately want the Prime. It is a feather compared to the Xoom.

Thanks for the input. How good is the screen. Is it a big difference? I'd love a tablet with a screen like the samsung galaxy s2. And performance wise vs the xoom? I know I'm a transformer prime forum but I think I will get some honest answers. I thanks in advance

I have a GS2 and I had the Prime (returned for defect, currently awaiting replacement), and they're very comparable.

And the answer to your original question is yes, the Prime is better than the Xoom in most regards. Unless you start factoring in Mobile Broadband and GPS, it's pretty much got the Xoom licked.

Thanks for the reply. I wow if the screen is the way you say then I'm in. I'm going to have to go see it in person. Anyone know where I can go on demo it?

And as far as gps and mobile broadband go I'm not to worried about that as I have the wifi only version of the Xoom and I really don't use those features. But I'm excited to use the transformer.

Gamestops that sell tablets have them on display.

I had a 3G Xoom and the Transformer Prime is MUCH better. Wi-fi range is a bit less, but other than that the Transformer Prime is better in almost every category. Faster processor, better screen, MUCH lighter. The bezel on the xoom was less, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Awesome thanks guys. Has anyone used pdanet to tether to their phone. I had this problem with my xoom and evo3d. It doesn't pair over bluetooth for tethering so I had to use pdanet for tablets, which sucks as it looses connection all the time and only the browser works.
