Transforming a white front HTC 10 in a black one

I've manage to (almost) transform my European version with the white front on a US version with a black front by applying a full screen protector which is black on the part that's not the visible screen.

From what I've read on this thread I thought all full cover tempered glass screen protector looked terrible and didn't stick properly (since the glass is curved on this smartphone) but I actually don't think it looks that bad. I bought the cheapest one on ebay, cost 2 bucks.

Do you guys think it looks OK?

I think so but I haven't tried it yet.

I have a friend who is a designer who noticed that something wasn't right but he was the only one who didn't like it. He said he has a habit of noticing the details
Everyone else like it. But for 2 bucks, if you don't like it then you can order the white one and replace it.

Yeah, I regret in a way getting the white front , but, as you know, the black version deteriorates over time on the back whereas my silver back is unblemished. This could be a good solution for me so thanks again. Just wish US version was available to all

So I've also ordered the black protector for my white fronted 10. How is the home button function with it on ? Obviously it will be recessed but how much does it hinder ease of fingerprint unlocking ?

Hi. Mine arrived today from China to the UK. I like it, I do have a slight mark on the front which won't go and at the moment have two vertical light strips around the inside of the side bezels. It may stick down I don't know. I like the look and wish more the silver black was available outside us.
Oh, about the fingerprint scanner, have you wondered about colouring it in with a pen of some sort ?
