transparent edges in camera

Hi everyone,

Loving this beast, but wanted to know if there is a way in the camera to make the edges of the camera transparent so my pictures are full screen.

The camera has a standard 4:3 image ratio, whereas your screen is 16:9. This means that if you wish to use the full 8MP resolution, it will be in that 4:3 ratio and you will have the black bars on the sides.

You can choose the "w6m" resolution (next one down from the 8M) to take 16:9 ratio pics and it will fill the entire screen, just like in video mode.
