Traveling to Paris, France and voice/data question?

All,

Traveling to Paris France for 10 days. I have the ATT LG G3. Got a couple of questions:

- Their international roaming worth it? 120mb for $30 or 300mb for $60
- Can I unlock the phone from ATT? Or should I go through those phone unlcok sites?
- Anyone know of good France carriers that will give me LTE via prepaid SIM?

Call AT&T and tell them you're travelling internationally and see if they will do a carrier unlock for you (they may have a temporary option if not a permanent one).

I found that when I traveled to Spain and the UK last year the most cost effective option was getting the pre-paid SIM from a local carrier. Do some Googling and see what carriers service France and get an idea of pricing on their SIM offerings.

Getting an int'l phone # and being able to give it out to people before my trip was a huge advantage, for me, anyway. Traveling to different countries and not having to get a different sim and # is also a good thing.
