Trickle Charge Kernel Fix Wanted

He has a Kernal Update that allows his battery to not die so fast. I like all of you have the problem where we unplug the charger and all of a sudden the battery drops by 10-20% as you watch it.

The fix he has on his EVO i want on my Samsung Epic 4g...

Is there a fix or will I just hate him

His battery life is insane and superior to mine and i hate it!

There's no reason an Evo should be getting longer battery life than you... also no reason you should lose 10-20% instantly. When you unplug, it should drop to 96-97%, not 80-90%.

Try installing a custom ROM, they do wonders for battery life. I'm running ACS SyndicateFrozen and I saw my battery life more than double- I have no issues making it through the day with half my battery or more remaining.

Running stock and mine will drop no lower then 96, usually 98.

add to the root of your sd card and flash from recovery

got it thanks. For all other noobs. To get into Recovery MODE you need to hold Volume Down Power and Camera Button AFTER YOU PHONE IS FULLY POWERED DOWN. Then read.

Everything is installed.

try downloading the gingerbread keyboard. its a nice alternative.
