I'm completely clueless when it comes to Android phones... Probably a good reason for me to not have done this in the first place, but the idea of the battery life that I was reading about convinced me otherwise. However, I thought I could follow instructions well enough and that was not true apparently. Basically, I backed up my phone with ROM Manager, then downloaded the ShabbyLeaf ROM on my phone and opened it straight into ROM Manager. When I clicked for it to do the automatic back up, the phone shut off and shows no signs of life now. Absolutely nothing.
As far as ADB... if you could please give me step-by-step instructions in how to do that, I would be forever indebted to you. This is the worst scenario possible because I am on my girlfriend's family's plan, as well as being a poor college student, so I'm kind of freaking out that the phone might be dead in the water.
Thanks for your help!
EDIT: I followed a guide to connect via ADB... let me rehash what I did to see if it was right. I had the Android SDK downloaded which included the ADB file. I extracted them to my desktop then open the command prompt. I typed in "cd "desktop" and hit enter. Then next I typed "adb devices" and it said "list of devices attached" with nothing underneath it.
I am assuming that means that it is not allowing me to connect?
