Titanium Backup PRO is probably the most recommended app after root. I bought the full version well worth it. Main thing is you can freeze alot of the pre-installed crapware, and see if it has any negative affect on your phone. And if you decide you don't want it you can then permanently erase that app.I tried today on AT&T Note3 running 4.4.2 worked perfectly. I also followed the instructions to download SuperSU. But I am a total Noobie. Whats next?
Root Checker says I have root access...................but not sure where to go from here, I had tried downloading SafeStrap but it kept saying it stopped working, so i uninstalled it. But really not sure if I need a ROM or how to get/download one. and just what else is common to be done after rooting. .
Sorry to sound ignorant but never rooted before, thank you
I have used titanium backup pro to erase alot of the bloatware from Samsung and AT&T pre-installed. I've found my Note 3 runs faster and less battery drain.
Next is Xposed Installer. Will take too long to explain her what it does but it it allows you to download modules that do specific things. Check it out.
