Tried towelroot on note 3 or 2?

I tried today on AT&T Note3 running 4.4.2 worked perfectly. I also followed the instructions to download SuperSU. But I am a total Noobie. Whats next?
Root Checker says I have root access...................but not sure where to go from here, I had tried downloading SafeStrap but it kept saying it stopped working, so i uninstalled it. But really not sure if I need a ROM or how to get/download one. and just what else is common to be done after rooting. .
Sorry to sound ignorant but never rooted before, thank you
Titanium Backup PRO is probably the most recommended app after root. I bought the full version well worth it. Main thing is you can freeze alot of the pre-installed crapware, and see if it has any negative affect on your phone. And if you decide you don't want it you can then permanently erase that app.

I have used titanium backup pro to erase alot of the bloatware from Samsung and AT&T pre-installed. I've found my Note 3 runs faster and less battery drain.

Next is Xposed Installer. Will take too long to explain her what it does but it it allows you to download modules that do specific things. Check it out.

Any suggestions on what apps to freeze or remove? I froze all att and third party bloat like flipboard, etc... but I'm nervous to touch any Samsung apps because of there integration at a system level.

This thread will help. In the thread is a link posted by dpham00 that should help give more ideas on what is safe to freeze.

Unless you are running short of storage space, I recommend freezing only. Permanently deleting the bloat, as good as it may feel in the moment, may end up being a hassle later on if you find that you need an app in the future.

Thanks, yeah I'm good on storage. I would only ever freeze anyway. I know this isn't like my Nexus where if I mess it up, I can Fox it easily. Samsung is a little trickier, so I'll proceed with caution.

Here is what I've frozen.

I successfully rooted my Att Note 3. From what I have been reading It works on all Android devices. I also rooted 2 of my android tablets. Make sure you turn off your auto update in google play. Choose your apps wisely. Does anybody know how to check knox to see if it has been tripped

Thanks sezaro21atpa - I'm not cell phone savvy but am smart enough. I have the Verizon Note3, 4.4.4 - do you think it will work and should someone like me try such a thing? The only reason I'm doing it is to make sounds louder.
