Trojan

So my work IT emailed me that I possibly downloaded a trojan virus on my phone through the work WiFi. Is it true that that doesn't really happen on Android? Is it just a false positive?

It is certainly possible that you "downloaded" a virus.
Having the virus get installed is a different matter.

I used three virus scanners and none of them came back with a virus. Anything to verify I'm fine?

How did the Trojan install on your phone? Did it open a fake installer? Or just ran itself as soon as you open the email?

How is the trojan behaving? Is it rebooting your phone? What is it doing

I'm not aware of anything actually being on the phone. I just got an email from work IT that got me paranoid. Are you saying the only way I would get one is if I knowingly installed? If so I'm good then.
