trouble finding 8" screen replacememt

I have a large crack in my screen but I only found one place on ebay selling them and they wantes $75 I came across many 7" screens for sale around $30
Any ideas why this is? Im in no rush to replace it since it is hard to even notice and I have clear skin over it hopefully more 8" screens become available soon

It could be a demand or production issue. Maybe the larger 8-inch is in less demand so fewer screens are floating around to purchase as a replacement. It's really hard to say what the reason would be...just keep an eye on the seller and see if price drops happen.

Just an update incase others are in need for a replacement screen I actually found another seller at a much better price on ebay from china. I think it was like $35 much better than paying $70+
They must make a killing selling these replacement parts.
Going to buy it tomorrow.
Does anyone know how involved the process is to change out these screens.
