trouble getting root back

so after a month or so, of failed ota updates, finally it was available through othe pc system update, so I did it, knowing I would lose root. I figured i would just use ioroot and reroot. Well I tried io25, and when i start it, it doesnt brink the rsa key when i connect it. It does sometimes, and then says adb is out of date, or something about the daemon not working. I downloaded the vzw drivers, and kept trying, it would say it will reboot into recovery, but it only rebooted to the android guy and a red exclamation sign, as if it couldnt get to recovery. I think it has something to do with adb, I really am not sure how to use it. I dl'ed sdk tools, and went into where adb is, and ran it as admin. not sure what to do. Also is it still possible to reroote with ioroot?

That depends on the version of Android you updated to.

it was already 4.4.2 but think the build number is 26b now, but after searching, reinstalling drivers etc, i discovered that ioroot wont work anymore and to use stump root. that worked, so glad, cause I forgot just how many ads are on most apps.

Use stump root. It worked for me
