Trouble integrating GrooVe IP with native dialer

So I have the paid version of Groove IP. Applications like Google Voice, Viber, Talkatone, Skype, etc all appear as an option when making a call from the native dialer. Is there a way to make Groove IP one of those options so I can have it "Always" make calls through Groove IP from the stock dialer application?

I've seen the native dialer options in the Groove IP settings and tried the obvious, but I can't get it to show up as an option when tapping a contact from the native dialer. Any idea's why this could be happening?

For what it's worth, I've also got Nova Launcher running and I'm somewhat new to Android.

Just a quick search: looks like it's not possible unless you buy the full version. So you should have the ability!

Open GrooVe IP
Tap the settings menu (upper left corner)
Tap Native Dialer Options (Figure C)
Tap Built-in Dialer Preference
In the new overlay, select which option you want as the default action

My problem is that is not working.

I even went to Settings>Apps>All>Phone>"Clear Defaults" and still nothing.

I'm wondering if you got the native dialer to work with GrooveIP as well. I'd like to know if it works before I get the paid version of the app.

the native dialer works for me but the native messaging (from within the dialer does not) as i have to pick google voice as i only have wifi.

is there anyway the dev can integrate this into groove ip so it will use the native message app when sending messages thru google voice?
