I thought I would try a 128 gb SD card since some AC members stated they were able to use them.

I copied all my music on to it and then I started downloading my google movies. I noticed the movies were downloading oh so slowly. Now they will not even download. I have restarted my phone, computer, router, gone on 4g and nothing.

I think I am going to have to go back to my other card.

As asked above, what card exactly? Was it new or previously used in a different phone or device? How did you attempt to load the files?

I have successfully used both ScanDisk and Lexar 128GB cards with no issues. I just installed the cards, did NOT format them, and used an OTG to copy them from my old card(s) directly to the new card installed as above on my phone.

Beh is there a reason you don't format a SD card? I was always told to format a new card in the device it will be used in.
Of course I don't format a card that's got data on it unless I've copied it to an external hard drive first.

It is a Samsung Evo. It was brand new. I downloaded my music through the computer and the movies through the Google Play Store.

All of the microSD cards I have purchased come formatted exFAT and are ready to use in Samsung devices.
