Trouble with Call Volume

I've been having people tell me they can't hear me......is there a way to turn the volume up or fix this. Thanks!

I think I read that you can only change that with root. have you tried changing the codec?

I thought 2.01 was supposed to fix the call quality thing so that you didn't have to dig into the holy of holies to change settings?
