trouble with clockwork

i just rooted my phone over again. so im trying to backup in rom manager except when i try to backup my rom it goes to the white htc screen followed by a black screen with a picture of a smartphone with a red triangle with an exclamation point in the middle (sorta like the debugging symbol).

the only way to get out of this screen is to do a battery pull.

any help how i can backup without any trouble. ive done it in the past with no issues i dont know why this is happening now.

Turn the phone off. Hold the volume down and don't let it go while you push the power button. This will put you in stock recovery (HBoot). You can use the volume rockers to highlight your selection. The selection you want is Recovery. This will send you to ClockworkMod recovery. Go to Backup and restore and select backup.

just tried it...ended up the same way. same black screen with triangle...beginning to think that theres a problem internally

The only other thing I can think of is to uninstall and reinstall clockwork and see if that works.

It means you don't have a recovery image. Did you flash ClockworkMod Recovery in ROM Manager before rebooting? http://forum.androidcentral.com/thu...-backup-restore-install-roms-thunderbolt.html
