Trouble with this website

Oh, by the way, what about the duplicate posts that were a result of this?

Also, should I be able to delete my own post or thread on Tapatalk for this forum?

You can delete your own posts by selecting web view on Tapatalk, using mobile or full view on a browser or pc.
I prefer using a pc, which has other exciting stuff related to how wonderful I am.

I checked earlier, and there is no option once you get down to the opening post that will enable you to delete.

Actually you are wrong.

Not on Tapatalk, but you can go to the full website or mobile website via the Tapatalk link for web view.
Select Edit / Pencil icon, then you will have a delete option for your post. You cannot delete a thread you started without requesting it.

So, I have edited both duplicate posts asking on the posts themselves for them to be deleted, who will delete them for me?

I can't understand why we can't delete our own opening post if there have been no replies.

Also, I see no options to report our own posts.

I believe the issues with IE and Tapatalk were unrelated. It is more difficult to code a website for IE than for other browsers. Microsoft never followed W3C standards as closely as Apple, Google, and Mozilla did for their browsers.

You may edit or delete your own posts, but not if it's the first post of a thread you started. You'll need to report a duplicate thread so that the moderators can delete it.

I've done this already, still waiting on them taking action.

The errors you've been experiencing should be gone now. Give it a try and let me know :) Thanks!

Thanks James. Were any actions taken regarding my initial post here regarding IE 11 and freeze ups? I turned my Shockwave back on and so far it seems to be better as I've had no "Internet Explorer has stopped working" errors, but he text in the Quick Reply area is still a bit wonky as it will lag for a few seconds while typing and then catch up, or sometimes just miss some letters. When I re-enabled Shockwave I started getting the video ads again along the right side of the page, but again, so far, not major crashes this afternoon.

Edit: Nevermind, just got the IE has stopped working again error just scrolling up and down one of the forum pages. Seems like the scrolling really triggers the errors.

My duplicated threads have now been deleted, thanks to the mod or administrator who helped with this.

What about all the crashing and freezes in IE? This just started last weekend, so something on your site has changed. Scrolling causes freezing as well as when you type in the quick reply field.

Contact me direct on that as I'll have some questions for you. IE has been giving us a little bit of grief lately. My email is below!

James, I don't know if you guys changed something or perhaps it was in some of the Windows updates I installed, but the issue has disappeared. This site now scrolls smoothly again with no freezes and all my browser plug-ins are re-enabled.

My customised signature shows correctly on this forum which is taken from the settings.
