troubles updating and installing apps.

I have several apps due for updates, and I am also downloading apps for the coming severe weather season (will need today). But both updating current apps and downloading new apps is not working properly. It is getting to 100% installed, but just stays there, and doesn't actually install the new app or update. This has gone on for about 3 days. A time having similar issues or have suggestions to remedy it?

Have you tried force-closing the Play Store and opening it again? Do you have enough free space for installation? Do you have any 3rd party apps that might be scanning the app installation and slowing it down (like antivirus or Lookout Security from T-Mobile)? Try clearing the Play Store's cache as well

Yeah I still have 14.78 GB of storeage left on my device. I have force closed the play store to no avail. One app finally updated after about 4 hours yesterday. I'll try clearing the cache and then restarting my phone and see what happens.
