True Bumper Case?

Anyone know if there is a bumper case available for the g4 that just goes around the outside and not cover the back?

Looking to protect the edges of my phone but keep the look and feel of the leather back.

The only ones I've seen are on Ebay, the TPU or Rubber ones all seem to be out of stock. There's an aluminum one with a foam liner I may try. They are all from Hongkong/China

Partly,but I also dont like the idea of a metal bumper in general. I hope we have options soon

More than I wanted to spend but it is protecting a $600 phone. I'll have it Monday and will report back how it fits the leather back.

Worse case, easy refund on Amazon.

Same, just ordered it and will be here Monday. A case is a must for me. I generally don't drop my phones but the other day it fell out of my hands from the 10 row of the bleachers at my kids baseball game. Hit the cement about 6 feet down. Thank God I had a cheap chase on it, other wise it would have been a goner.
I have this case on a black leather back and not a big fan how it looks but it did the job.

Let us know, might get it anyway as I like the looks of it. For the moment my phone came with a free clear TPU case that's actually quite nice so I can wait a bit.

So it came in today. I like it except for the fact that I ordered black and Amazon sent me blue. I'm not thrilled and told them that in an email. The black is now 3-5 weeks for availability so I asked them how they planned to fix it. See what they say.

Here's some pics of it on the phone. Very light. Obviously won't provide the same level of protection as a full case but that's what $50 deductibles are for. I want to be able to see the leather and feel it.

Maybe not, we will see. I know I had to be one of the first to order because when I ordered that had exactly 8 of every color, then they go and jack up my order.

I think they are needed so that the bumper isn't weak and won't break in that area.

I'm part way convinced to spend that much on the bumper, looks like it made well.

The black one looks like blue as yours.

The seller told me the black bumper is kinda Navy Blue, and said will send me the picture of the blue one later.

That is really disappointing to hear. I'm sure Amazon was just using the description from the manufacturer but navy blue is not black. I might just have to get a refund. I'm not using navy blue with the Orange back I have coming from the LG promo.

The silver looks good. To bad it's backordered on Amazon also and shipping from Gmarket to the US is more than the cost of the bumper.

It's not bad. It fits pretty snug. I have to take a little extra time with it so that I don't pop the battery cover off at the same time.
