Truecaller and default phone app

I have enabled truecaller to be the default phone app and also made is the only phone app to send me notifications. But when i get a call both the built in phone app and truecaller show on my screen at once and both try to indentify the caller. How do i stop the built in app from popping up please?

Does anyone know if it safe to use package disable to disable the inbuilt dialler?
