Why is it that some reports say gear s will be out tomorrow and yet some say Sunday?? Nothing is ever consistent and really don't know how these marketing people get paid any money for frustrating customers. I even called a local tmobile store and was told Sunday but then again I asked the same person when the Edge will be out and he said they haven't given a date. I told him he was wrong as tmobile posted a press release last week it was out next Friday. Truly amazing this still continues and will forever as we want the technology but they play games and properly informing us and stores of details. Imagine what a proper marketing person would do for tmobile!

I'm in the exact same boat.

We should have a solid release date for all platforms and know where they will be available for purchase, we should also know for fact if these devices are carrier specific or unlocked. It appears nobody is sure including Samsungs own reps, that's shameful. I hate going into these places and having to school them on things they are paid to know. The communication is laughable but alas I will be purchasing the product anyway whenever it's available. They need to takes notes on apple and how they promote products and build hype. To stay competitive your marketing and or promotion needs to be on point. I admit I'm a Samsung fan boy but the people on the fence, they may say screw it and purchase an Lg or 360 do to frustration alone.

There are people over on other forums receiving there's today, as a matter of fact a person on sprint received one yesterday with pictures for proof. So the street date has already been broken.

I wish I could run a business like tmobile. The biggest problem is no matter how poorly they do marketing for new product launches as well as have no consistent pre order launches and most importantly make it easier for customers to find out who has them and how to get them. It is like a game... the rat has to seek and destroy and nothing we can do about it. It is mind blowing why they make it so difficult for us customers. Most store employees are useless on obtaining any real accurate info and they say because of corporate. No one in Corp will ever be held accountable.

I called 4 local tmobile stores and all were clueless on the watch. One said to preorder via 611. I laughed and called 611 and the girl couldn't even find the watch on her list. She was going to try and sell me the gear 2 and I assure everyone due to the naming of the watches you will have agents who are clueless enter orders for them. So I am back at square one. Third world operation.

I gave up calling stores after the same thing happed. I even talked to a Samsung Rep who was clueless and kept trying to sell me a Gear 2 which I already own. I'm not going to chance it with another carrier unless I can get some confirmation it will work. I guess I'll be waiting to order online and living vicariously through the lucky At&T subscribers. I'm going to be honest, T-Mobile has lost some points with me on how this has been handled. They should at least allow pre-orders.

Couldn't agree more. It really is amazing if you think about it. They are terrible at truly promoting new products. The fact is they don't have to do anything and the product will just appear when it does. Who cares about the customer spending over $300-$500 a Month with them. Truly would like to know what third world country the marketing people were educated in! They say to sign up on tmobile for updates but the fact is it will be in your hands faster than they notify you via email as this happened with the note 4 with me. It really is communism thinking and we have zero voice. I come from corporate America which means nothing anymore.
