I did this, and it didn't work. When I called them I was told to keep it and the reason why is because it has my name printed on the back. Thanks Moto.
Anyone else attempt to return the phone yet?
I have an unlocked variant/T-Mobile 16gb Bamboo back, white front, gold accent. It's a nice phone and all but I wouldn't keep it if I had to pay $465 (w/ tax). Though the spec on this phone isn't all that great, the phone is still pretty smooth. The things that disappoint me is the camera, but that's expected from all the reviews I've seen. Some apps are a bit sluggish compared to iOS but doubt it's the phone's fault.
I'm planning on going through the return process on Tuesday (would've had the phone for a week).
Overall, I'm enjoying the phone. Price is definitely a bit high given its specs. Otherwise, it's a pretty good experience. I'd have to put CyanogenMod on it to get a few extra features/usability improvements, though. The Moto X is my second favorite Android experience so far, the next being the One M8.
I can't believe that! I almost had custom engraving on back of mine but figured it'd be a waste since I knew I was sending it back!! arrrrggggghhhhhh!!!! lolI did this, and it didn't work. Anyone received their $0.01 back from Motorola? I haven't... No email about it being received but wasn't charged full either. I finally got some emails about feedbacks today and afterwards, I got another email with "Congratulations! Meet your Moto X." in the context...
