How did Android choose those apps to view video? Those particular apps aren't set to anything i.e. 'none set as default'. So I go to settings, apps.....default apps, 'set as default'. I go to my video player and I see 'none set as default'. How do I set the darn app as my default mp4 player? I tried to 'reset app preferences' and it did nothing. I have looked thru multiple forums and every answer is select 'clear default app', however when an app has 'none set as default' that option is greyed out. This is very frustrating. Please help!!! Thanks.

I'd say you don't have an app to play MP4 files, at least that the phone recognizes. The fact that you get three choices would indicate there is no default set. Download an MP4 player from the Store and try again.
