The thing I like about Nova is the dock pages.
OMG that option disappeared!
Try going to settjngs>general settings and restart launcher.
Oops, sorry. Just saw that you're sticking with Nova.
Um... Microsoft Launcher has folders. I've made several.I like ML but wanted folders!

Yes that's true. I'm not sure what vertical scrolling does. I turned it off and didn't see much of a difference.I found out that if I choose verticle scrolling the option goes away.

Ok. I never noticed a difference. Even with it enabled, it didn't seem to change anything. When I swipe up it would open my apps locker.Vertical scrolling just allows you to hide your home screen (not dock) apps when you swipe up. Declutters the home screen if you want to simply see your wallpaper.
It's finicky, though. I disabled it.

That would be why I never noticed. It obviously wasn't working for me. I use ML on both my a Note 8 and Tab S2 and never once noticed it did anything. It was nice when it worked... A swipe up would hide the home screen apps and just leave the dock. So inconsistent though. Failed more often than it worked. That's why I disabled it.

Ah ok. I understand now. I don't have more than one desktop page. That is why I never noticed a difference. Once I added another page, and enabled vertical scrolling, it worked. This isn't how Vertical Scrolling works. When Veritcal Scrolling is turned on you swipe up and down between desktop app pages. When it's turned off you swipe left or right between desktop app pages the same as Nova and all other traditional Launchers.
