How do i figure out what app is draining my battery? I initially thought it was me being on Bluetooth with my smartwatch, but even when the watch isn't connected and Bluetooth is off the battery has been draining quickly. Normally it doesn't bother me , but today my battery went from 100 at 5 pm to 40 at 8 pm with 2hrs of on sot. I normally can make it to at least 6 or 7 hours of my 12 hr shift before I need to charge . I've already done the safe mode thing but since I don't really understand the safe mode thing nothing came from it. Any suggestions or help is appreciated. Here's photos of my battery stats and optimized apps..Screenshot_20190426-205114_Settings.jpegScreenshot_20190426-205109_Device%20care.jpegScreenshot_20190426-205119_Settings.jpeg

Take a look at Settings /Connections / [tap on] Data Usage. You can look at mobile & wifi usage. It shows what the big app users have eaten up. This may help with what app is also using the battery by fetching data and helping eat the battery.

Well, according to your screenshots, Uber is the main culprit even though it was only active for 8 minutes. Facebook also used a lot of charge, but you were on it a lot (approaching 2 hours), so that's to be expected. Then AdGuard, BestBuy, and Walgreens.

Close Uber. Turn off the GPS when not needed. You posted your own answer.
P. S. I'd get rid of the fb app and access through a browser. And you have great cell signal, so turn off your wifi radio and the bt radio if you're not using it.
Clear the cache partition and reboot.

I wiped the cache before I posted. I also closed uber and the Walgreens app ,but they are still coming up on the list as if they are being used. I also cut off background data.

How did you close the app? Usually would take anywhere from few hours to a day to see if it had any affect in battery stat .

I force closed them a few times. I don't understand how it's saying I've been using both apps all day but I haven't opened either since Thursday. background data has been off for both as well.

That was the correct thing to do , force close but it would take some time to show up if it correct or stayed the same in the battery stats until it got fully charged again and reset .

Ok. I'll force close them again, charge the phone and wait a bit to see if anything changes before I reset .

Minimize your application or reboot your gadget on factory settings

Your usage is high by any measure on the OS and apps.
If you do a reset, do not do a restore, as it may be where the glitch lies. You seem to have done everything you can except putting it in Safe Mode or doing a reset. Good luck

After factoryresetting my phone I think I figured out what app was causing me e issues. I decided not to put the facer app for my watch back on the phone. Normally by the time I finished my 12 hour shift my watch would be down to 15% with the facer app installed. Today I noticed that my phone battery was not draining rapidly and my watch battery is now on %50 after my 12 hour shift w/o the facer app. going to see if both will make it the rest of the day , but I'm pretty sure that was the issue. Wish I would have figured this out before the reset.
