Trying to hook up to PDAnet using an LG4 phone and it is locking up when connecting.

Once I hit the connect button, it goes to the connecting to your phone (USB)... and hangs up. I know the issue is not with the desk top because my phone works with it. Mine is an LG2. I figure somewhere on the newer version there is a block but I cannot figure it out. Using Windows 7.0 professional.

Do you have FoxFi installed on your phone? If you don't, that's the problem.

If you do have FoxFi on your phone, you also need to have USB Debugging turned on on your phone for it to work. USB Debugging is part of the Developer Options group and hidden by default, just do a quick Google for your device for instructions on finding it.

If you have FoxFi running and USB Debugging enabled and it still isn't connecting, try uninstalling PDANet on your computer and then reinstall it choosing the application's Android and device drivers when prompted.
