TRYING TO RE-INSTALL CLOCK STYLE AND ALWAYS ON DISPLAY they will not turn on

HI, I AM TRYING TO CHANGE THE CLOCK ON MY LOCK SCREEN. SO I WENT TO THE CLOCK AND FACE WIGES IN THE LOCK SCREEN AND SECURITY. I CLICK ON THE CLOCK STYLE AND IT SAYS

“All apps associated with this action have been, turned off blocked, or are not installed”

Then I tried to do it by turning on the always on display and even that did not let me do it. I still got the same note as above.

Also I noted that the always on display does not turn on even when I have it selected to turn on.

So I tried to download the apks from apkmirror for both the “clock style” and “always on display”. I could download the apk alright but it will not install. It keeps starting to install and then saying app not install.

I am not sure what is happening. I don’t know if I if these apps are not installed anymore and I might have deleted or disabled them. And it seems that after I did the latest software update I cannot install any apks at all.

I would appreciate any help please. Such a simple thing I cannot change.

Running android 8.0.0
Samsung experience version 9.0
Knox version 3.1
Knox api leave 25
