I'm using titanium backup pro and I've backed up everything from my stock ROM and I want to restore it all to the new ROM. How do I do it?

There is a button on the top panel of the apple for batch restoring. Should be in there.

If you don't see anything you need to go into the app preferences and change the default location of where your apps were backed up. Easy process, just navigate the directory to where they were originally backup.

Ok so I did that and restored the app data and it worked for a little bit but it key popping up that some gapps stopped. I'm coming from jellybean 4.1.2 the official release to cyanogenmod 10.1. What could be the problem?

-_- I hope you're not restoring any system data between roms.

Yea, make sure you're not restoring any system data! But just to be clear the data you're restoring is from the same version your on. IE: 4.1.2 ONLY to 4.1.2 and NOT Ics 4.0.4 to JB 4.1.2

Definitely. You can only restore app data especially if you are coming from a different custom rom or android version

What exactly is system data? Im having the same problem as Cameron Goad. Is it like Wifi passwords?

That is the type of thing you would lose after a data reset. Almost anything that you or the app wrote to internal storage is lost. Data on external storage is not lost.

You can try restoring data for individual apps that were installed from the store (no system apps). But don't do big wholesale restores. Do 1-2 apps so if you do run into any kind of trouble you can identify the app. Have a current nandroid backup if you need to go back to square one.

To minimize the pain of rebuilding look for in app backup and restore capabilities. For instance Apex launcher has an in app backup and restore. I've never used it but I assume if you use a Tapatalk login it stores your subscribed to forums. You can also use backup apps in the store to backup SMS messages, or call logs, to name two of them.
