Turbo or moto X?

I've got a turbo. Great device. I've been approached with a trade for a Moto X. Should I stick to my guns or go with the X? I know I'm gonna get a one sided opinion, posting here in this sub forum but I'm looking for a little insight. Thank you. Both models are 32gb just to clarify.

With the Moto X you'd be downgrading your battery, screen, camera, and lose wireless charging (I'm sure there are other features you'd lose as well).

Moto X is a nice device but I wouldn't do it.

With LP lurking on the horizon for the Turbo, why change. Battery alone makes the Turbo superior.

No, I think what PowrDroid was suggesting was based on the current model. I agree. Unless the Turbo is just physically too large (and it really isn't that much larger, though it is quite a bit heavier), or you are annoyed that it gets android updates at a much slower schedule than the X, I'd also stay with the Turbo.

Still a relative downgrade I'm terms of specs. I mean you posted in the turbo forum. To a different point if view, ask the same question in the moto x forums too.

What the turbo has against it though, its an exclusive to vzw and it's still on kit kat, although that should be changing soon as there is a soak test coming.

Thank you all. I had a feeling that the turbo is far superior. I just wanted to hear it from the turbo heads. I don't know every device. I wanted assurance that I was making the right choice

One more thing: the Turbo has a one time glass breakage warranty that the X, I believe, does not have.

Supposedly the X (2015) will have a better battery than the 2014 X and a better camera than last year's X and the Turbo combined.

I already have a turbo. The main question was to keep it or trade it for a '14 moto x. Not about waiting for anything. But thanks for your input.

How about fast battery charging? I don't think Moto X (2014) has that. I know the 1st generation didn't.

As far as I know. Only the nexus 6 and turbo have that ability

Any phone with a snapdragon 800 series can fast charge. So, yes, the 2014 Moto X does support fast charging. (Lots of other phones do as well, not just the turbo and nexus 6.)
