Turn off autocorrect?

I found where to turn off spell check, all I want to do is kill darn auto correct! Is it possible? It keeps forcing changes that aren't right.

It depends on the keyboard you're using. On the Google Keyboard it should be under its Settings, in the Text Correction section.

Long press on the comma>Google keyboard settings>Text correction. Assuming of course that you use the Google keyboard. Others should be similar.

This is what I've found, Settings/Languages and Input/ from here all u can do is shut off Spell Check entirely.

You need to go in and reset it.
Think it was in languages.
I was having the problems. That is what I did.
Have it to relearn all over again.
