Turn off cell signal and data but not wifi

[Android Central Question]

When I'm at my parents' house, i get no signal. But my phone is constantly searching for signal which is annoying and it kills the battery. I want to be able tell my phone to stop searching. I don't want to use airplane mode because that also turns off wifi. How can i disable cellular signals without turning off wifi?

Tap airplane mode, then tap WiFi. That will turn off data and WiFi, but then you are able to turn on WiFi only, without turning on data.

Welcome to Android Central! You can always turn wi-fi and Bluetooth back on when you're in Airplane Mode.
