Turn off Facebook mobile browser

I just got a new Samsung, and am trying to turn off Facebook SL's mobile browser and am having no luck with the settings. Every search I make, directions say the song is under the "media and contacts" header in the settings menu, but that just doesn't exist! There's a "media" header, even a "browser" header. But nowhere have I seen the "open links externally" option to turn this damned browser off. Someone please help!

I just installed it to check -- I don't see the option either. They might have taken it way, which would be a move that I could only call pure Facebook.:-\ Have you ever tried just accessing the Facebook website on your browser, rather than installing the app? It works about as well, and you don't have to worry about the FB app hogging your RAM and battery.

I only use Facebook through my browser. You can accept notifications from the browser if you still want them. It saves the Facebook app hijacking data and battery off my phone.
