turn off outgoing caller ID on S7 Edge- verizon

i cannot find on my S7 edge-verizon where i can turn off the outgoing caller ID-ANYWHERE..

so show it shows-" private/restricted" on the persons - caller ID -im calling

running android 6.0.1

It's a function of the network, not the phone, as far as I know. You have to apply your number as a private number.

On a per call basis you first dial *67

Open phone, then tap more, go to settings then scroll down to more settings, says show my caller ID, change that to number hidden in outgoing calls. That's all you have to do

When I used to have Verizon, there was no option to hide my caller ID on whatever phone I was using at the time. It had to be set on the Verizon website by logging into my account. Only GSM carriers seem to allow this to be done right on the phone.
