Turn off texting gibberish?

When typing, some words auto correct to letters. How can I turn off?

When you say the word is autocorrected to letters, do you mean a whole word is autocorrected into a single letter? Can you show us a screenshot of what the keyboard (and the word suggestion ribbon) look like when you're finished typing a word?
