Turn this off (Messenger notification)

Doors anyone know how I can turn this notification off? I'm talking about your messenger notification. I don't think it's a Facebook app issue.

I think you can turn it off in Notifications settings for the app.

I believe that's a app usage alert, can swipe it away

Ok... go to device care tab battery then 3 dots upper right corner turn of app usuage I'll post a screen shot ..
Also long press the messenger app tap info , scroll to storage and clear cache and FORCE STOP IT...let me know.

I think that fixed it. My Chat heads have started back working too. It's weird.

Now I have to figure how to stop read messages turning back to unread and vibrating every time I open a message.

That might be a bug in the message app
But can long press it and tap info , clear data,/cache and force stop it and see

I uninstalled it completely and it's still doing that.

So you uninstall the messenger app and it gave that notification again?

Yep. Chat heads stopped popping back up. And old messages are going back to unread. When I click a message in my notification shade, messenger doesn't even open. I have to go find the app.

Well we have some other things to try
Go into phone settings , in search bar type reset then go to reset settings , let's see if this will help with some of your issues

Wow ..stays good for little and then acts up .
