TV Guide 91% Battery Usage?!

Playing with my phone I wound up in the battery area.
When I checked Battery Use I was surprised to find TV Guide, the "official" app that I just DL's last night and used once, at 91%.
Android System itself is only at 4% but I guess that 91% would throw off all the statistics.

Did some searching. Curious as to how accurate this is. Could there really be a problem causing this app to consume the battery?

If you don't have it yet I'd download spare parts from the market. It has very detailed stats on what apps are doing what and you can see if any apps are keeping your handheld from sleeping. To answer your question, yes an app can drain your battery due to it misbehaving. I personally use TV Listings for Android by Jersey Productions.

One of the searches I found mentioned spare parts. I did download it.
tv Guide was using a lot of CPU time. Besides that I didn't do much looking with sure parts.
Tv Guide was actually 3rd on the list. I uninstalled it right after that.

Yeah I don't know if you should always believe that.

Today it said a game I played for 30 min. was 90% of my battery usage.

I can understand a gamewhIch take power, especially a long game.
I'm not sure though, after I removed it the stats changed and Android became 44%.
