TV Out to HD?

I see the TV out cable is composite.. which is garbage.

does this device not output to HD?

I would assume it's component because the output video is not HD quality. It's only 720x480 which makes it DVD quality. Still good, but HDMI cables wouldn't upscale it any.

Am I right?

As you can see, it's composite. (it shows the HD2, but this cable will work on the Incredible)

However, the specs in this phone are roughly the same as the EVO and that can do HD.. I bet it's just a software upgrade..

Have you tried the cable yet? I could care less about the resolution, I have 9 other devices connected to my receiver that do HD. Would really like to know if the cable works with the Incredible and Verizon hasn't screwed it up like they did with the Imagio.

I havent.. I have the cable from when I got my HTC Fuze, just haven't tried it on the Incredible yet.

Are you sure. It lists it is compatible with a TP2. it uses a mini usb connector. The Incredible has a micro usb connector. I have a TP2 cable and it doesnt fit the Incredible.

er sorry, didn't take notice of the end. Yeah if you find the micro-usb cable it's basically the same cable, just different ends. =/
