At least for me it does.
When I heard that the Tablet could be tweaked by sideloading 3rd party apps, I decided to go ahead and get one in case B&N ever decides to close that loophole via an upgrade some day. I've been working on it for a couple of days now, and I'm glad to say I'm pleased with the results. So pleased in fact, that I doubt I'll ever buy an n2a card for it should they ever create one.
I've always preferred the native reader to the Nook app - mainly because of the shelving feature and the read-and-play books. With the n2a card, I stayed on the android side of the NC so I had to reboot the device in order to access the native reader. But now I can access both worlds - so to speak - with just a couple of clicks of a button. I can stay with the native reader and access my favorite android apps with just a couple of clicks. Much easier than rebooting the device in order to change over. This way, everything's literally at my fingertips. Yay!!!!
