twidroyd preinstalled on V

I tried using the pre-installed bloatware of twidroyd on my v, it seems to let me sign in, but none of the feeds work, nothing under trending, cant find ANYONE that I follow, just seems like a dead app I cant get rid of. The reason I want to try and use it- well since its on my phone and taking up space, I don't want to take up more space with another app that can do the same thing. Any feedback on this? *(no i'm not rooted)

If you do actually want the twidroyd to work you need to update it from the Android Market.

I had the same problem. I couldn't get any of my tweets to load. I got fed up, rooted my phone and removed it. I just use Twitter for Android now.

Twitter has updated there privacy and the pre installed twitdroid isn't up to date to meet it so you have to update or use something else. I suggest twitcaster.

I didn't want to install another twitter client since there is one on the phone that's "built in" taking up space and not removable (unless rooted). I tried going into the market looking for an update under my downloads as well as searching for twidroyd itself, and it doesn't even recognize that I already have the pre-installed app. So.... I guess I'm stuck using the m.twitter.com or installing another app... probably loaded with ads unless I pay
