Two audio programs running at same time?

On my last two phones (HTC Evo 4g & 3d) I was able to play an audio book and use Google Navigation at the same time. While the book was playing, if Navigation needed to say something, it did and then the book audio returned. I can't seem to get that to work with the SG3. Does anyone know if it's possible?

I haven't tried an audio book, but I can use Pandora and Nav at the same time, or play music from the SD card and use Nav at the same time. When Nav speaks, the music pauses, then picks up again.

Just tested with Pandora, you are correct. It must be the audio book player I've been using for years (Akimbo Player). Looks like I'll need to try something else and experiment.

This is why forums can be so helpful I just tried Smart Audiobook Player and it worked with Navigation as I would have expected it to.
