Two HTC Pixel phones hit the FCC?

According to Android Authority, FCC listings now exist for both HTC Nexus phones. If I'm not mistaken, this didn't happen until late September last year-- 9/25 for the 5X and 9/28 for the 6P. So what does that suggest since this is the place for rumor mongering?

Maybe they're ramping production up between now and reveal to ensure a good initial supply, so we don't have people waiting weeks for their phones?

Or that Google is waiting for HTC to hit a certain number of available units before deciding upon a launch & release program. Sure. Still it seems like good news re. a possible mid-September launch that the FCC filing is checked off.

They have to be after the V20 - I'm guessing end of September again.
