Two issues with 4.2.1

Hi all -- I've had 4.2.1 on my ASUS Transformer Infinity for several days now, and I've noticed two issues, and I'm wondering if it's just me, just ASUS, or if any fixes are known:

(1) With a couple of apps--most notably the Email app--I keep getting vibrate notices, even though I have vibrate set to "never" in the app. I keep the volume off on the pad normally, but never had this problem 'til the update.

(2) I can no longer set wallpaper, either on the home or lock screens, from pictures in the pad's memory. I can use the preset ones, including the live wallpapers, but not I try anything else, including then one that worked fine since before the update, the wallpaper is simply black.


Any thoughts much appreciated! And if this is an ASUS Transformer-specific issue, please feel free to move this to the appropriate forum.

Have you tried cold booting your tablet? With the pwer off push volume down and power button, hold until 3 icons apear mid screen, use volume down once to select the android guy the press volume up key to start the boot, you will see some tiny printing top left that the tablet is cold booting. You will not lose data or apps.
