Two problems!!!

First, why doesn't my mac recognize my phone when I plug it in? And second, doesn't anyone know how to get movies on our phone?!!!

Well to answer the first question, you can use a MicroSD Card and connect your phone to your PC and drag them in
As for the first question (which also applies to the second), get this app called "AirDroid" which allows you to access your phone via WiFi, so you can transfer anything to and from the phone easily and wirelessly

Thank you, now thirdly, how do I download a movie on my macbook pro? lol when i put it in it just starts playing the movie? It doesn't give me a option to download to my laptop.

if you want to download stuff to your phone, go to the play store and download an app called Adownloader. You can download, pretty much anything.

Use "AirDroid"
You can access files from your phone and download them to your PC, including movies

If you mean from the internet, use Torrent.
They have a uTorrent app on the Play Store, which you can use to download movies

Torrents work by number of seeders sharing the file... If there aren't many seeders it will take longer compared to a torrent with a lot of seeders... Make sure u look at how many seeders there are on the torrent u download

My galaxy s4 active tells me there is a download error I tried adownloader, bittorrent, utorrent non of them will download.
