Two quirks lately for my G4

About 2 months ago my G4 suddenly stopped working with knock On. Tried everything turning the feature off and back on, etc. Knock off still works just fine. Anyone else have problems with this?

Within the last two weeks my screen has suddenly started turning on all by itself. Not receiving a notification or anything. I'll set my phone down and the screen just turns on. Worst part is have it on my night stand and have it turn on and lighting up the bed room. What the heck?

Do either of these problems persist in Safe Mode?

Knock On still does not work in safe mode. As for the screen turning back on by itself,that didn't happen in safe mode, but sometimes it takes a couple hours before that happens.

Are there any power-saving modes or apps turned on that might be preventing the phone from staying awake enough to recognize the Knock On gesture?
