TXTR Beagle - very cheap eReader

It looks like a pain in the ass to me.

No micro USB or wifi. Wouldn't call it hackable, barely call it usable. Have to sync your books to it via bluetooth from an Android phone.

and people come here asking questions about this device and no one knows how to answer it because it not popular or good.
get a nexus 7

OK, so its a very limited device, but it has a very limited price: ?10 or $13.

If it could me made to do more than the makers envisage it could be something even more useful.

A screen for a Raspberry Pi?

(And by the way, I have a Nexus 7.)

Edit:

Reading more I see the very cheap price will be as a package with a smart phone and contract.

The stand alone price will be around ?60, which makes it rather less attractive compared to the cheapest Kindle.
