My user name is chicnhok, the name on my DL is Joan, but chicnhok will do best U see bcuz it has 2 meanings. Broken down into syllables,( chic-n-hok) its easy to see the 1st meaning is a majestic bird of prey , & 2nd is a bit trickier, chic=a woman, n=in, hok=hock=debt, or a woman in debt verifiable by a mortgage that I shouldn't have been allowed to get
In a nut shell, I'm older than dirt, my brain see's things totally different than other peoples. (I call it backwards, not to b confused with dyslexia bcuz I'm not dyslexic) as U can tell I mainly do any kind of writing in text form(my text form, kinda on the keep it simple stupid concept just not the one you guys know)
Yes I am challenged in oh so many other ways, I'm told that goes along with aging, just doing a random search that lead me here, makes me feel like i'm on another planet.
I just found out that I can purchase a phone that is unlocked,( please feel free to jump in & correct me any time U feel I've stumbled down a rabbit hole, & for gods sake don't get in front of me if I'm falling, I was the person they were talking about on that commercial "I've fallen & I can't get up, if your trying to keep me from falling then its U who won't get up,) I'm not small by any means ...
I digress here see how easy that was to run after that rabbit...ur yes well, I really like the unlocked part what I have now & the carrier to go with it is AT&T, the phone is an LG G3 i'ts out of warranty, & contract I'm stil w/ AT&T just my 2yr period is up & as with everything in life (well mine at least) once I pay something off it starts taking a crapper at the most inconvenient times. It gets really hot if I'm browsing actually if I use it for anything any length of time it gets hot even charging, & nothing like txting away & U look up and all your words that have letters close to the #'s, the numbers win. I didn't change keyboards or anything...so now ive come to the conclusion, I need another phone...if for kno other reason to see what it will sound like when thrown into a running garbage disposal (yes with the water running) how else will we know how it does in water.... water resistant is such a irrelevant term these days
Unlocked phones, this is what I know so far, that most are carrier friendly that means that I can take my sim card and put it in the unlocked phone & it should work...correct, does that mean that the onboard apps of the old phone stay with the old phone? I was looking at some unlocked phones & I saw that some can take dual sim cards Y would U need that in a phone, ...I will continue to look up the answers to my questions myself...feel free to jump in and answer any questions, or offer suggestions, I like to take good pics, my sister takes better pics on her flip phone than my LG so a decent camera is a must, I wana get the most, for the least amount of money & on board apps, I hate having to have something on my phone that I don't intend to use, ie...Facebook, twitter, lookout, hangout,2- diff navigation apps, 2-diff messaging apps, yeah I'm not a social person, & if I need an app I can add it in as long as its compatible. Do unlocked phones come with extended warranties, what happens when the mfg upgrades to a more advanced OS, that I probably cant afford, I'm thinking this will be the last phone I get so I want to cover all the bases as best I can....Thank U to all that got thru this w/o nodding off, any suggestions will b greatly appreciated until nxt time U all take care.....Ms. Chicnhok
