U11 and international travel

Just got a U11 and I'm going to Italy in September. Will I be able
to pop a local Sim card into it in Italy and still use that phone or go with Verizon's international plan?

It's unlocked so it should work as long as it supports the required bands of the provider you are going to use.

You could use the "Verizon International plan" but careful - Find out all

the details on its International-Plan: I've a recent experience when

travelled to a Central American country..I got from a Canadian

Network 750 MB of data: 100 text messages: 120 mints

as Air time all worked out except that I couldn't

receive local calls - Was able to receive phone

calls, sadly find out that whoever call me

on that "x" country will be charged

Long distance calls: RipMe off
