Ugh..should I return my EVO for something else?

just download smart keyboard from the market and you will have the exact same keyboard on your evo as your husband has on his iphone.

Yep i got it! Very nice except there is no way (that i can figure out) to remove / turn off the keyboard. Like right now i am using it and will need to switch to other keyboard to remove keyboard so i can post.
Am i missing something?

Good call! I took a series of comparison photos on my Evo, all with auto flash on, alternating between auto-ISO and manual. The manual ISO shots were always better, whereas the auto-ISO photos tended to have that blown out look that I've been lamenting. So, your tip definitely helps.

Yeah Android's auto ISO settings are actually bad unless your in perfect conditions... My dad owns a recording studio and they do audio and video work for TV..... After a few bad photo's I played around with the ISO and it helps out a lot if you adjust the settings to the environment your in.

Once you make the adjustment and learn what settings work best in what light you will get some pretty good shots with the EVO...

Just swipe down from top to bottom and that will lower it

As far as the camara goes try this settings: do not check auto focus instead tap on the screen where you want the camara to focus. Brightness +1, sharpness +1, bring camara to 5 or 3 mp, make sure you clean the lense. When you are taking poctures at night play with ISO settings.

Now as for the keyboard do not ise auto correct. Try to download the Motorola X keyboard and you will remember this comment for ever. I have the updated one and will PM you with the ipk so can install the keyboard amd you will go to 100% being satisfy with the Evo

I have gotten some nice pictures with ideal lighting. I have NOT, however, gotten any pictures using the flash to turn out well. They are always blown out. Is there some way to adjust the timing?

I get the same results: night pictures suck, natural light pictures are amazing, slightly moving when shooting blurs, and colors are dull. Forget using the flash for dark pictures = blowout, bad white balance!

Compared with my friend's iPhone4 on the train and theirs was *shamefully* so much better. I tried to seek good qualities within, but there was nothing I could say except, "oh the resolution is larger!"

Kind of hard to do when you're drunk, or just want a spur of the moment pic. That's what AUTO is supposed to be for!
