Nope, and it's peeled off very easily.

I've been meaning to take a pencil eraser to that rectangle to try and remove it, but never got around to it.

You might not have actually removed the actual sticker. There's a screen protector (kind of) on the back too, it's not just the sticker. Remove the back and i'll be gone, or it's just an outline that you can remove easily

Good point. I was assuming he wanted to keep the back clear plastic on for protection.
