Huh. I've seen other reviews on YouTube where they still got smashed by the iPhone but they were pretty close on the tail of the S21. With the Pixel 6 edging out the Pro by a few minutes.

Apple isn't android. I'm glad to see Apple has finally made an iPhone with good batter life. The p6 pro did well for android. As stated by others, the battery will be fine IMO.

Two different mobile operating systems. Base android vs other androids. if the P5 pro did well vs the s21 ultra, then that's good enough for me.

Apple battery life lasts an eternity because it's not running anything. All it has to do is power an app tray (some sarcasm there, I know). So I don't really put too much into the comparisons people do with iPhone's. That's why in my previous message I more or less brushed it aside as an afterthought and put more energy into the comparison with the S21 which was respectable. Based on what I saw in that review, I think battery life will be awesome on both models of the Pixel and wouldn't worry about a few random videos where people say it was less than impressive. With so many various use cases, we'll all see for ourselves soon enough.

IPhone 11 Pro Max was awesome One battery then it took a step back with the 12 and now it looks like they did good with the 13 Pro Max so kudos to them

I've read reviews that say the Pixel 5a has bad battery life. Well, not in my case. My 5a kicks azz on my S21ultra in terms of battery life. Some people say the opposite. Some say the Pixel 6 and 6pro have some of the best battery life's. Some people say the opposite. "Boo hoo, my car overheats when I drive 150mph." Well, try driving a bit slower.

Battery life is incredibly individualistic....No one has the same usage, no one has the same battery life.

IPhone 11 Pro Max was awesome One battery then it took a step back with the 12 and now it looks like they did good with the 13 Pro

I don’t think the 12 pro max went backwards with battery life. I had the iPhone 11 Pro Max and now the 12 pro max and the battery is similar if not better

I don’t think the 12 pro max went backwards with battery life. I had the iPhone 11 Pro Max and now the 12 pro max and the battery is similar if not better

I should have said in my personal usage from my results 11 did better but as always everyone’s mileage varies

I concur. Until we see real world user reports of Pixel 6's in daily use I am not worried. I think battery life will be just fine.

Many different factors in battery life. Signal strength, screen brightness, number of apps installed.

It also can take almost a week for a battery to settle in. Usually folks see significant improvement after a couple of full charge-ups.

Stats are a trap. My iPhone 13 Pro Max destroys the Pixel 6 Pro in Geekbench. But even my Pixel 5 is slippery smooth enough for me. I don't notice the difference at all. The only thing that matters is end users and their real world experiences.

Most of the latest Android phones have battery life sufficient for me. It's not like the old days when I'd be at 30% before my day was over, having done hardly anything on the phone, LOL.

Battery tests are one of those things I don't even really pay attention to since it all depends on coverage, area, etc. They can vary wildly.
