Uh-oh, foggy lens problem?

Oh and while we're at it, rice doesn't take moisture out of a phone. That's a goddamn myth and total bull. The only way rice absorbs moisture is to come in contact with the actual moisture or to cook it. It doesn't suck moisture out of the air.
Yeah true , but I end up eating the rice

Surely isn’t this just one person still?
We don't even know if the one person is a legitimate complaint. We don't know what the person did to their phone and if they just trying to cash in on 15 minutes of fame or trying to get the phone covered under warranty.

I've been trying to tell people this. LOL!!!!

" Users are allegedly warned to simply avoid temperature contrasts when using the device. " really?? so i can control the weather samsung? ooh boi if this is wide spread then hmmm, might jus get the Note 10 + .. didnt really hear about issues with that phone

Have you never put a piece of bread in with a batch of hard, dried up cookies? The bread doesn't touch anything, but the cookies absorb the moisture and they are all soft again.... pretty sure rice can absorb moisture without touching moisture... Just saying..

Gotta love the youtuber mentioning that the Note has just been released and major problems are starting to pop up.

Reminds me of conspiracy videos honestly, take a few photos of the internet, make a video with a robotic sounding voice, make absurd exaggerations and accusations. Then get views and gain ad revenue.

Believe what you like. Rice does not extract moisture from the air. It absorbs water by contact. To answer your question I've never put bread in with my cookies. I've never even had that problem but if I did I would just throw them out.

Put it in the frig for about 20 minutes and then take it outside during the afternoon. It's about 91 here in Florida and if there is a fogging/condensation issue... it'll happen under those conditions ;)

Probably not, an oven is dry heat, it won't have the moisture found in the air in Florida. Maybe try using a sauna?

Have you found a 2nd yet? So far this one guy posted photos to a Samsung forum with moisture in his camera with no details of how it got there. Condensation and fogging are natural occurrences but the sheer amount of water in there makes me question if it's not water damage. His posts seem to indicate he thinks the phone is water proof not water resistant, for all we know he submerged his phone and is now trying to tarnish Samsungs reputation because they won't replace the phone.

It's one set of photos, with no clear indication how it got moisture in there, the guy doesn't even describe what led up to it happening. He says that Samsung blames temperature change and condensation yet no approximate tempertures are given. Samsung has not come forward for comment, there is no proof he really spoke to Samsung.

The Korean forum he posted on has had no one else come forward and claim it happend to them. Every news site, blog, or YouTube video on it so far all reference the one guy or use his photos claiming plural with no evidence.

Truth is we don't have the evidence to know if this is legit or not. This may be a legit problem, it may be someone angry at Samsung, it may just be internet trolls looking for their moment of fame with a new Samsung conspiracy.

How about this to dry out a phone instead of rice...

Preheat oven to 90 degrees.
Prepare Note by placing in a non stick pan.
Place in oven and set timer bake for 20 minutes to allow any moisture to evaporate.
Afterwards, remove from oven and place on counter in room temperature to cool.
Works??

Is this a Martha Stewart recipe?
