Uh-oh, foggy lens problem?

How about this to dry out a phone instead of rice...

Preheat oven to 90 degrees.
Prepare Note by placing in a non stick pan.
Place in oven and set timer bake for 20 minutes to allow any moisture to evaporate.
Afterwards, remove from oven and place on counter in room temperature to cool.
Works??

Store I used to work at used a food dehydrator to dry out water damaged phones. We threw phones in there at no cost since there was no guarantee it would fix the device but it did work sometimes. Either way got the phone dry for us before we attempted repairs if the customer wanted to pay for us to tear it apart at that time.

For anyone that read the article to the end, they clearly point out that these reports are not officially substantiated. I find that irresponsible reporting and amounts to not much more than clickbait until we know for sure.

From the article

"One major point to note is that these reports are not yet officially substantiated. Samsung has not acknowledged the issue on any of its official platforms, and the alleged reply from the company is also yet to be confirmed. The PhoneArena team has reached out to Samsung and has yet to receive a response. As this is a developing issue, this article will be updated as relevant information arises"
Even if this is a wide spread issue, I think Samsung will do the right thing considering the issues they have had in the past from the note 7, the S20U camera issue.

Based on the article:

Shockingly, the message also states that, due to the phenomenon being inherently natural, Samsung is not liable to provide repairs or replacements

People can't wait to hate on Samsung because they're successful. And most these news media outlets are pro Apple. Ironically which also has Samsung parts in it. I've been buying Samsung since the Galaxy S4. Never had a single issue with none of my devices. Best on the market to me. Can't wait until mine shows up.
Til this day I am a bit salty about the Note 7. That Coral blue was amazing. Please bring that back Samsung

Samsung is a company that tries to innovate as they attempted with the Note 7. They just tried to cram in too much battery and things were too tight. I like that they try to do things first. When you're trying to innovate sometimes things happen. Could be a boring company that never tries to change anything. But again, I personally never had an issue with any of their phones I've owned. I will admit that I didn't own the Note 7 though. Heck, some companies have problems and they aren't even innovating. They're always last to the table.

I completely agree. I didn't personally have issues with the note 7. I just want that color back
